A Gift of Mercy

Dear World,

I write to you about 1,000,000,000 lbs. lighter than I was yesterday. Just a few moments ago my doctor emailed me to let me know that my BRCA test results came in. 7 days earlier than expected, no less! I had wondered how I would process the news when I knew that results were in. Would I want to know the answer right away? Would I want to prepare myself in some way for the news? How do you process a genetic propensity of ovarian and breast cancer of almost nothing vs. almost 85% likely? What must it be like to get either result?

Now I know....

...to hear the sweetest negative I've ever heard.

    SO SO SO SO SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!!!!! Honestly, what a gift. You're right, God does not deliver everyone from this sort of pain, but He has delivered you... and that is news worth rejoicing in!!!!
